The area with turbines is the same as the developer’s consultation area. This area is 265km2, which is about 3.5 times the area of the Rampion array.
There are 75 turbines with 290m diameter rotors and a maximum blade tip height of 325m, and 3 substations. This array would have a capacity of at least 1200MW, or three times the capacity of Rampion.
